Lower limb orthosis
It includes various types of braces, splints, and casts. These devices cover parts of the foot, toes, lower leg, knee, thigh, and pelvis, and are used for prevention, supporting injured limbs, correcting congenital or secondary deformities, improving walking conditions, preventing and reducing symptoms and the progression of complications, and preventing secondary disorders caused by diseases, as well as for pre- and post-surgery applications. These orthoses are designed and created for conditions such as spinal cord injury, bow-legged or knock-kneed deformities, hip dislocation, fractures, brain injury, cerebral palsy, stroke, polio, burns, knee ligament tears, and to prevent injuries caused by neurovascular disorders, leg length discrepancy, clubfoot deformity, facilitating movement of weak or paralyzed limbs, immobilizing injured limbs, and improving the function of the limbs.
